Virtual Exhibition at the MoMA, New York

Participated in a project at MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York, where objects were placed in the virtual world, only visible by people using their iPhone or an other phone that could install the Layar application. This application shows the real world plus a virtual layer. Other participants were Banksy, Patrick Lichty, Bruce Sterling performed the opening speech, using an virtual Bruce and a live-feed from twitter.

CrossReality event at transmediale.09

Januar, Berlin, Germany. CrossReality event with Jce Emoto, NewBerlin, Second Front, Ze Moo, and first in world performance of bionic artist Stelarc. Live premiere at one of the largest multi media events of Europe.

For the occasion of the PICNIC08 I filmed the 2 great new works, showing art on Second Life is evolving to a higher quality level.

Using in-world instruments. The sounds grow stronger when the camera approaches.
Concerts are played with people all over the world.
Instruments are created specific for each piece. These instruments also feature visuals and
animations, and performances of a jumping, hovering, floating, dancing and twirling Avatar.

Orchestra Metaverse is a truly unique and spectacular event.
The Orchestra approach Second Life as an instrument itself.
The result is dependent on both the performers and the virtual environment

An art project with Wii technology, RetroYou game with gravity code removed, critisism through Missbimbo, where you can take boobjobs and take dietpills to become the perfect Bimbo, Webkinz, Second Life art and performances (Second Front / the YesMen, Arahan Claveau, Nebulosous Severine, Edo Paulus, Ischibot Nichi and many others). Arjan Scherpenisses Virtual Mirror, Chris Oakley RFID, Sandwoman.

Live interview and stream with Arahan Claveau, about Censorship on Second Life and his art about the hanging of 2 Iranian teens, because they are homosexual.

Performance of Second Front / the YesMen, disturbing also big company releases on Second Life with aesthetic performances.

Red Cross on Secondlife

The Red Cross in the Netherlands asked me to create an avatar for the supermodel Yfke Sturm (Armani, Ralph Lauren..) for their promotion campaign on Secondlife.

Yfke specially asked for an avatar in the shape of her body that has a caring and kind expression.
